Elvis unplugged is a website dedicated to Elvis Presley the ‘King of Rock & Roll'. Our mission is to document as much information about Elvis' life and music as possible, creating the most in depth Elvis resource on the web.

How did it all start?

The founder of EU.com had been an Elvis fan for many years, along time before the internet existed. One day whilst looking through some old videos he came across ‘That's the way it is' and old Elvis MGM documentary following Elvis' 6 shows at the MGM grand in Vegas. Whilst looking for a DVD version of the film, he came across a re-mastered version of the movie released in 2001.

It was one of the most influential 2 hours of his recent adult life. All the original feelings came flooding back of why he had followed and admired Elvis so much in the past. This is where the idea for Elvis Unplugged came from. Imagine a place on the internet where people could share their feelings about Elvis and document the impact he had on their lives through the years. Being an internet developer it all suddenly made sense to create this online community that was originally just an idea.

What are our Goals?

Our goal is to create the ultimate Elvis resource on the internet that fans from all over the world can have a piece of and get involved in. A community that fans can become a part of and share all of their Elvis knowledge, or if they were lucky enough, their experiences of meeting the man himself

We also aim to encourage our fans to produce their own articles that can be published via the blog section for other members to enjoy and debate over. We also think it is important that our community are able to publish articles created by them and therefore not needing to be professionally written. We understand that to be an Elvis fan you do not need to be a professional publisher. We intend to choose a different community member each month to address the community via our community newsletter.
