The war in Korea is over and the world is experiencing a time of great prosperity and great division. Meanwhile in a small, hot recording studio in Memphis, a young man named Elvis Presley is about to change his world with one song.  Highlights from this edition include Elvis' early recordings at Sun Records!

The King of Rock 'n' Roll

Elvis has taken the country by storm, appearing on Ed Sullivan and other TV shows, and diving headfirst into acting in some of his early films. But while Elvis is captivating the audiences, the world is beginning to change from it's wholesome Leave it To Beaver years, with the rise of communism in Cuba and racial tension brewing in the South. Featured in this edition are his films Loving You, Jailhouse Rock, and King Creole.
